Facebook parent Meta Platforms has announced a subscription service, called Meta Verified. The paid subscription service will allow users to verify their accounts using a government ID and get a blue badge. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the service. “This new feature is about increasing authenticity and security across our services,” Zuckerberg wrote in a statement posted to his Facebook account.
